Apple said yesterday that its App Store smashed all previous records a few days ago, confirming that is made $500 million in sales through one week, while having the best day ever on New Year’s Day. Both services are loaded with poor quality apps and probably only 30% (at most) of the products are worth looking at. However, while both are similar, there is little doubt that Apple’s App Store is the superior portal and service. Read More »

Apple’s App Store has always felt like the most rounded experience, even with the admittedly solid Google Play Store as a rival. It is a similar story with iTunes, and it seems that both services have enjoyed spectacular growth in recent months and have proved again why Apple’s iOS can monetize apps and entertainment like no other mobile platform.
