Having recently been introduced by my grandmother (68) to ‘Angry Birds’, I have swiftly been drawn in to this world of virtual wonder and sanitised destruction. Watching her play avidly on her iPad, my curiosity took over, and I installed the original version on my Mac and played with similar vehemence. Much has been said about Angry Birds, but this is a unique case, where the concept, the narrative, is seeping into other areas of popular culture.
