After yesterday’s announcement and showing video of the iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak on the new iPad, pod2g just tweeted that the upcoming jailbreak works on the new iPad running iOS 5.1.1 without issues.
Just a couple of days after MuscleNerd’s announcement on Twitter, the iPhone Dev Team released a new version of redsn0w. Redsn0w 0.9.11b1 includes a new feature which allows iPhone 4S, iPad2 and new iPad owners to downgrade the firmware on their devices.

After yesterday’s announcement on Twitter, famous hacker pod2g updated his blog with a video showing his New iPad running an untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.1. Check the video after the break.
Just a couple of minutes ago, pod2g announced on Twitter that he successfully jailbroke the New iPad running iOS 5.1, and the best thing is that the jailbreak is untethered.

The iPhone Dev-Team hacker, MuscleNerd, has announced on Twitter that upcoming version of redsn0w will bring some great new features.
Apple N Berry have been selling a free software tweak for $50. Now Apple has changed the way this software can work, the Gevey Ultra 5.1 SIM No Longer Works at all as the SIM used the SAM exploit. This has forced the company to make an apology and issue refunds.

Famous hacker pod2g started a poll on his blog this morning, asking his followers: Shall we hold off the jailbreak for iOS 6?
After last week’s announcement that all the exploits are found and successfully bypassed ASLR, pod2g updated his followers on Twitter regarding the iOS 5.1 untethered Jailbreak status.
