Forbes has reported that Verizon has introduced a system to prevent jailbreak tethering apps like MyWi from connecting to its network. From today, if you use one of these apps, you will be redirected away from the webpage that you wanted to visit to a specially designed Verizon webpage where you will be asked to upgrade to an official tethering plan.
