Skype has announced an update for its iPhone and iPad apps that should make the idea and audio calling apps more efficient in the wake of the iOS 7 update. Skype says the update addresses “user feedback on iOS7” and has accelerated its start-up time.
The latest Skype update changes the start-up screen to ease the process for signing in with a Skype ID or a Microsoft account. It also has the standard promises of “Additional fixes and performance enhancements” related to call quality and stability of the app, but users will have to download Skype to gauge if there’s truly a difference.
