Can’t say that!!! There’s an app for that… Do you enjoy playing games with friends? How about by yourself? Can’t Say That offers many different ways to pass time with fun, either play with friends or play against yourself. 

Can’t Say That reminds me of a board game I use to play called Taboo. Do you recall playing Taboo. You have to describe words or phrases without using certain words to describe it so your partner can guess what you are trying to describe. The fun of the game is describing it without using the words written down which you are not allowed to use and trust me, it’s much more difficult than you think.

Can’t Say That allows the users to play by texting. It doesn’t set any time restraints or limits on how long you have to guess the word from the clues. Should you get stuck on a word or need help it has a hint category were you can get help from others. Can’t Say That is a great way to interact with your social media peers and have fun simultaneously. You can log in using your Facebook credentials or an email account. Once inside join in on games being played or invite Facebook friends to play.

Gameplay:

The game is very simple to play. You have a list of words across the bottom of screen which you are not allowed to use. You are trying to get your partner to guess the given word without using the words from bottom. It was difficult to get a game going without knowing the other person. The developer also make you close a splash page after each turn were they are trying to get you to download more free games. The pop ups are a bit over bearing for the number of times they pop up on the screen. It’s very distracting not to mention frustrating trying to play with all those pop ups in your face at every turn or transition. That’s one thing the developer needs to reconsider for certain.

The idea of the game is very entertaining and fun to play. The only problem is the time period between each play could be a bit long. However, they do have a nudge/poke button added to each player to help keep the game moving. The game functions pretty much like Draw Something only you are writing instead of drawing. I think many people will enjoy playing as more learn the game is available.
