The glass cube Apple store on 5th Ave. was evacuated yesterday due to the east coast earthquake.  Employees and customers were relocated to Central Park.  Thankfully, many of the Apple employees and customers paid no attention to the outside world and instead stared at their iPhones.

4:33 Creative Lab put some work into promoting their new title Secret of Chateau de Moreau prior to its release.  That combined with its overwhelmingly positive focus group feedback and extensive data testing made this a hotly anticipated title.  Of course, building up hype is a double-edged sword—if the game can’t live up to the hype once it hits the streets, the negative vibe spreads fast.  So did the devs overplay their hand with this one.

Apple Inc.’s Asian suppliers have begun manufacturing a lower-priced version of its iPhone 4 with an 8-gigabyte flash drive, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing two unnamed sources. The flash drive is being made by a Korean supplier, the report on the Reuters website said. Currently, Samsung and Toshiba supplies the flash drives for the iPhone, the report said. The iPhone 4S will have a bigger touch screen, better antenna and an 8-megapixel camera, the report said. The source also confirmed the iPhone 5 is being set for an end-September launch, according to the report.
