The BBC has reached out beyond the UK and is now allowing its iPlayer subscription service to be accessed from 11 other countries across Europe.
The service will cost €6.99 (US$10) a month or €49.99 ($71) annually and will initially be available in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Ireland, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
The iPad app will allow you to watch some great BBC shows including Eastenders, Ideal and the Top Gear series. A new feature in the BBC iPlayer app is that it will allow you to download content for later offline viewing. The service is available today but only in the 11 Countries mentioned above.
