iPhone 5 delay is not a #fail

The wait continues as the cries of a massive “fail” begin to fade.

They screamed and cried when June came and went without even a sniff or a mention of a new handset, it doesn’t matter what it’s called, it just never came on time. The Familiar June release cycle has forever been broken, the reasons why are still not fully clear but we can follow the rumors and thoughts of the analysts and agree or disagree with the production problems because of any number of reasons.

A September release date doesn’t have to be an epic fail. While those who are eager to get their hands on an iPhone 5 are rapidly losing their smiles and grins, Apple is gaining momentum  by the day when it comes to setting up the iPhone 5 as the biggest launch yet for an Apple product. Whether the delay is by mishap or by design, the launch is gonna be big.

Summer is a great spending time for vacations and trips but less of a spending time for household items and gadgets. A September launch after back to school purchases closer to the Christmas holiday season can only be to Apple’s advantage.

We previously discussed the problems of the iPad 2 launch and the poor inventory numbers and long delivery times. That is not going to happen with the iPhone 5. Apple has had to learn from previous mistakes and this time round is not prepared to see a #fail.
