Apple blocks iPhone Gevey SIM in iOS5

Apple has entirely blocked the Gevey Sim Interposer in the latest beta build of iOS5 - The Gevey SIM for those that don’t know was a brand new way to unlock iPhone 4 without jailbreaking it by inserting an additional Gevey SIM in to an iPhone SIM Card Slot. It means that Apple didn’t wait to block the Gevey SIM Interposer exploit until the Full and Final version of iOS5 GM for public release. This is bad news for many iPhone 4 owners who for now should not upgrade to the latest beta builds.

According to comScore The iPad accounts for 89% of tablet traffic across all markets and 97% of tablet traffic in the United States. The iPad is currently the dominant tablet device across all geographies, contributing more than 89 percent of tablet traffic across all markets.

iPhone app: iPicMyContacts   Adds contact pictures from Facebook and Google

iPicMyContacts will display the contact picture next to it’s name inside the contacts and favorites screens. It will also allow you to quickly search the web for the contact image and add it’s picture from there. To do that, just click the small contact icon next to the contact name. Next version will include even richer set of search engine and far more extensions to the Contacts list. Supports iOS 4 & iPhone 4 !
