iOS vs Android – Is the Iphone really more secure ?

Symantec security experts have develop a 23 page report that discovers how the iOS operating system, which can be found on Apple devices such as the iPhone and iPad contains a higher level of security features versus the competitor operating system Android.
On a comparison between both operating systems iOS was described as “having full protection”, while Android was categorized and “little protection”.
Some areas where the iOS contains more protection over the Android operating system will be data loss, data integrity attacks, and service attacks. Apples platform was also proven to have a superior level of security when it comes to encryption, and access control. As a matter of fact the Android platform was only given the highest raking in security over the iOS in one category: isolation.
Symantec’s report shows how Apple takes security in to high consideration, as every app that is to be launched or released has to go through a series of vetting procedures. This has proven the iOS to be “largely resistant to attacks”
