Review: GelaSkins for iPhone 4

You all know that i loved GelaSkins stickers on my previous device ( iPhone 3GS ). I love this stickers mostly because I love the elegant look of the iPhone and I dont want to use cases and add extra bulk. GelaSkins stickers protect your device from scratches and fingerprints, and also your phone will look more stylish.

.
GelaSkins are made of premium materials. Advanced 3M adhesive is realy easy to apply and is re-usable, it can be removed and re-applied many times in the procces of installing. After removing the skin there is no resedue left behind. I removed the sticker from my 3GS after 6 months and believe me the back was clean and the skin was in perfect condition. GelaSkins for iPhone 4 provides extra protection , it also comes with additional stickers for sides (antenna), and front (screen protector not included) for same price – 14.95 $. Only downside – if for some reason you are switching SIM cards you must peel the side because SIM tray is fully covered. All pieces and holes (camera-flash, volume rockers and mute switch) are perfectly cut, aplication procces was super easy, no air bubbles.

.
Gelaskins is a great way to customize your iPhone 4, from National Geographic and Marvel Comics to clasic (Monet, van Gogh) and modern international artists. I’m sure that there is something for everybody, but there is always an option to create your own skin by uploading your own images. There are also matching wallpapers for every skin, you can download them from the site or you can download Wallpapers by GelaSkins app (free) from iTunes.

The Gelaskin can be considered one of the highest quality skins for your device on the market today. The overall fit is perfect, with a perfectly sized holes, easy application, re-usable , great quality, price. Highly recommended.

Thanks to Kiersten from BLASTmedia and GelaSkins

Electronic Arts plans to buy the publisher of Angry Birds

Electronic Arts said it plans to buy the publisher of “Angry Birds,” one of the most popular games on Apple’s iPhone, pushing the second largest U.S. video game publisher deeper into the hot mobile games market. A source close to the deal told Reuters EA will pay under $20 million in cash plus other undisclosed considerations.

An EA spokeswoman confirmed the deal, but did not disclose the financial terms.

“By acquiring Chillingo, EA Mobile is increasing its market leadership on the Apple platform as well as reaffirming its position as the world’s leading wireless entertainment publisher,” EA spokeswoman Holly Rockwood said in a statement.

FaceTime Comes to Mac

Apple today announced the public beta of FaceTime for Mac, an entirely new application that allows Mac users to video call iPhone 4 and iPod touch users as well as other Macs. Featuring an easy to use interface, FaceTime for Mac automatically uses your Address Book contacts so there’s no need to create special buddy lists, and it works seamlessly with the built-in camera and mic on Mac notebooks, iMac and Apple LED Cinema Displays.

“FaceTime makes video calling to or from mobile devices easy for the first time,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We’ve sold more than 19 million FaceTime-ready iPhone 4 and iPod touch devices in the past four months, and now those users can make FaceTime calls with tens of millions of Mac users.”
