Jailbreak iPhone on 3.1.3, with sn0wbreeze 3.1.3

The Dev Team, iH8snow have released their jailbreak tool Sn0wbreez 3.1.3. With this update you will be able to jailbreak your iPod Touch 1G, 2G and iPhone 2G, 3G, and 3GS (old bootrom).
How to find out the if you have a “old bootrom”: If the 4th/5th digits of the serial # are before 40, you are good.

It would be great with an explanation to what an “old” bootrom is…
Yeah I agree with Martin …. Does this mean that an iPhone 3gs 16 gig with os 3.1.3 and modem firmware of 05.11.07 will be able to be jailbroken with this snowbreeze thing a majig
im not 100% sure but i think the versions before the 05.11.07 are the “old bootrom”

Sorry dont have time to explain more now , 1st thing you should know is that you have to be jailbroken before (3.0.1 – 3.1.2) for sn0wbreeze to work for you. If you are a iPhone 3GS user with 3.1.3 stock firmware (original firmware) then you cant jailbreak your phone.

so bottom line is , dont upgrade to stock firmware , for all of you that already have , no solution ATM

here’s a moron question i jail broke my iphone 2g running 3.1.3 ,using jailbreak me,on the phone,ya you know that one .and it worked ,but when i wanted to up grade i got stuck on the “DFU” LOOP AND NOW IM STUCK ON STUPID .the phone will not go anywhere ,and anytime i want to or try to restore it sends my computer (HP G60 RUNNING 32BIT WINDOWS SP2 VISTA) INTO BLUE SCREEN dump mode, well it hasent totaly crashed ,i have itunes 10 “the newest ver” and i have the restore points form felix bu… i also have another device that i sucsefuly jailbroke using greenp0sin my ipod 2g mb ver.. usin same computer .does anyone have any clues??? “HELP”"!!!!!!!!!
