Posted by: Phat^Trance in Other Apple News, iPhone News
Apple just released OS 3.1.3 for iPhone and iPod Touch, which you can download right now through iTunes. The new firmware update includes:
- Fix for iPhone 3GS battery level reporting
- Fix for app crashes on launch
- Fix for app crashes while using Japanese Kana Keyboard
Note: DO NOT update to 3.1.3 if you have a jailbroken iPhone / iPod Touch. There isn’t a jailbreak/unlock for this firmware yet. Discuss the new 3.1.3 firmware here (forum thread)

Is there any need to update an iPhone 3G?
nah, dont upgrade, specially if you have a jailbroken iphone.
My biggest mistake was to update from 3.0.1 to 3.1.2 i will not make that mistake again
I wont be touching that update until I know my jailbreak is secure.
